At Anchor Inn & Suites, we are dedicated to providing you with a memorable event. We ask that you follow these simple guidelines to assist our professional staff in meeting your needs.
Menu Selection and Confirmation
Our catering coordinator and chef will be delighted to assist you in making the menu selections that best suit your function.
Menus must be selected at least 30 days prior to the function. All food and beverage arrangements including food, liquor and wine must be confirmed 7 days prior to your event to ensure availability.
All food and beverage must be supplied exclusively by the hotel with the exception of a wedding cake. Health regulations prohibit the removal of food remaining after a function.
The final number of guests attending food and beverage functions must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to the function date. You will be billed for the number of guaranteed guests or guests in attendance, whichever is greatest.
Minimum Guest Guidelines
Due to space and staffing, we require minimum dollar amounts for our catering functions. This will ensure your event is well organized with ample product and service levels. The minimum number of guests required is stated directly on menus. If your group does not reach the minimum number, a minimum dollar amount applies. The minimum dollar amount can be achieved by adding menu items to increase the total price.
Bar & Beverages
As dictated by Provincial Liquor Legislation, all alcoholic beverages, wine, beer and spirits served on licensed premises must come from hotel stock, purchased by Anchor Inn & Suites from the Liquor Control Branch of BC.
A bartender charge of $25 per hour (minimum of 4 hours) applies to functions with less than $500 net bar sales.
A $50 surcharge will be levied on a daily basis on unlicensed rooms used as a hospitality unit. All hospitality units must be catered to by Anchor Inn & Suites.
